The Sports Karate Association of Jharkhand (SKAJ) was founded in 2014 with the affiliation from the National Body in India which was the part of the World Body - the World Karate Federation. The SKAJ started with 5-6 Style Members only but in the span of 8 years it expanded to around 14 District Units and around 20 Style Members and got to be the largest organisation in Jharkhand. Today the SKAJ is the only Karate Association in Jharkhand which is the affiliated member of the Jharkhand Olympic Association, recognition of the Jharkhand Government and all other organisations in Jharkhand.
